Looking for some last-minute 4th of July activities? Look no further. We have compiled a list of fun-filled activities for you to try on this festive day.
- Throw a BBQ

Gather your friends and family together to enjoy a 4th of July BBQ! Get creative with some staple 4th of July foods like corn on the cob, hamburgers, fries, chicken, hotdogs, fruits, and salad. You can even get creative and bake some yummy desserts like red, white, and blue cookies or cakes. With delicious food, music, and a lively social scene, a BBQ is sure to make your 4th of July exciting.
- Have a beach day

Weather permitting, go to your local beach with some family and friends to soak up the sun during the day. You can bring your favorite foods, drinks, and games. If chilling out is more your vibe, bring a beach chair and a speaker and listen to your favorite music.
- Play lawn games

Lawn games are a common 4th of July tradition. Typically lawn games are played at gatherings on this day and create a lively atmosphere. A few fun lawn games to try out are beanbag toss, ladder toss, horseshoes, and an egg and spoon race. You can also get creative and make your own game!
- Attend the local Independence Day parade

Typically, 4th of July parades are held in each town in the morning or early afternoon. Check your local news stations to stay updated on when/where your town’s parade will be taking place. Get creative with your red, white, and blue outfits and enjoy the liveliness of the parade!
- Attend a firework show

Independence Day is never complete without some fireworks! Oftentimes, local parks will hold firework shows for you to attend after your day festivities have ended. Firework shows are a great way to end the day and celebrate this national holiday. Bring your favorite blanket, snacks/drinks, and look up to the sky to enjoy the fireworks.
