Energizing breakfast recipes to start your day

Alright foodies, it’s time for some new breakfast recipes to get your day started! Summer is the time of fresh fruits, so get creative and balance your breakfasts with some colorful nutrient-rich foods. It is important to keep in mind that our bodies all process food differently. Therefore, choose the ingredients that agree with YOU. See our recipe ideas below! 

Greek Yogurt Bowls:

Greek yogurt is an excellent source of calcium and provides probiotics that aid in your gut health. Spruce up your greek yogurt with some healthy grains and nutrient rich fruits that your body agrees with!

Suggestions:

  • Fruit Lovers: non-fat greek yogurt, pineapple, strawberry, kiwi, blueberry, and granola
  • The Sweet One: non-fat greek yogurt, chia seeds, granola, raw honey or date syrup 
  • Strawberry Fields: non-fat strawberry greek yogurt, strawberries, granola 
  • Reece’s PB Cup: non-fat greek yogurt, peanut butter, banana, and chia seeds

Looking to balance your fiber intake and cleanse your system? Make a smoothie! You can make your own smoothie at home using organic and simple ingredients. Pair your smoothie with other breakfast essentials or take it with you on the go! This quick and easy breakfast is sure to help boost your energy, aid in your gut health, and eliminate toxins from your body. Get creative and use the fruits/veggies that your body loves.

Suggestions:

  • Apple, Kale, Banana, Ginger, Mango, and Strawberry smoothie 
  • Cacao, Banana, Nut Butter, and Strawberry smoothie
  • Blueberry, Greek Yogurt, Banana, and Chia Seed smoothie

No breakfast is complete without some sort of your own creativity. Start by looking around to see what foods you have. Make your own balanced meal by pairing foods that agree with YOUR digestive health and YOUR body. It is important to remember that everyone’s body processes food differently. For instance, some people eat more fiber than others while other people can’t consume large amounts of fiber. Do some research about what works best for your system and create your own go-to breakfast meals!

Suggestions:

  • Eggs with Avocado Toast and Greek Yogurt 
  • Cream of Wheat with your choice of fruit 
  • Egg and Spinach Frittata 

Energy Boosting Drinks To Pair With Your Breakfast:

  • Ginger Tea 
  • Peppermint tea 
  • Pineapple juice 
  • Orange juice 

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so have some fun with it and get creative in nourishing your body!
